2440 Design Studio is committed to the creative economy. Past and current project partners include: Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, The Post Contemporary (f. CAC Woodside), Proctors Theater, Salem Art Works, Vanguard-Albany Symphony, The Albany Center Gallery, Universal Preservation Hall, Spring Street Gallery, Saratoga Arts Fest, Caffe Lena, Glowing Pictures and the Foundry for Art Design + Culture. Performance artist C. Ryder Cooley. Food justice organization, Soul Fire Farm and public infrastructure organization the Collar City Ramble. Additionally, 2440 Design Studio has been at the forefront of the development of an Regional Fashion Economy through a self initiated project called Electric City Couture, a promotional vehicle for fashion designers, models, photographers and regional independent boutiques.
By maintaining a close connection with the creative communities, we continue to stay focused on the creative process and have available to us a strong roster of creative economy project partners. On the professional side this includes photographers, videographers, theater professionals, performance artists, musicians, specialized design professionals and a variety of industry consultants with high levels of targeted experience.
